Lazy Keto – Cheesy Vegetable Bake

Turn frozen veg into a proper meal


🛒 Ingredients (1–2 serves)

  • 2–3 cups frozen vegetables
    (broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, Brussels sprouts)
  • 1 batch Lazy Keto No-Roux Cheese Sauce
  • Extra grated cheese (for topping)
  • Paprika (optional)
  • Salt + pepper

🔧 Method

  1. Cook the vegetables first
    Microwave or pan-cook until hot
  2. Remove excess moisture
    Drain well and allow steam to escape
  3. Combine with sauce
    Mix vegetables with cheese sauce in baking dish
  4. Bake (first stage)
    180°C for 15 minutes
  5. Stir
    Redistribute sauce and moisture
  6. Top and finish
    Add grated cheese + paprika
    Bake another 10–15 minutes

⚠️ Key Tips

  • Frozen veg holds water → always pre-cook and drain
  • Stirring halfway improves texture
  • Overcrowding dish = steaming instead of baking
